Who We Are

PUPS for Parkinson's Disease, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization, located at 998C Old Country Rd., #239, in Plainview, NY 11803. We can be reached by telephone at 516-279-6430. Our mission is to raise money to fund the research that is needed to find a cure for Parkinson's disease.

Perhaps nowhere is the human/companion animal bond stronger than in our relationship with dogs. And at PUPS for Parkinson's Disease, Inc. we offer you and your canine best friend the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of the 1 1/2 million Americans who suffer from Parkinson's disease.

Because of the generous support of our sponsors, every dollar you donate goes directly to research. -->

To All My Buddies --

Well, our fundraising deadline is only a few days away now! This year's PUPS Walk really proved that, even in tough times, we can all work together for a good cause. We and our "significant people" raised lots of money for Parkinson's research. I am so proud and happy and you folks should be too!

There are only 3 more days left to qualify for top fundraiser prizes. So let's all reach out our paws one last time to raise the money that's needed to find a cure for Parkinson's disease.

I hope you all have a great summer and let's get together again next April for the 2011 PUPS for Parkinson's Dog Walk.

Love,

Baylee

Hi Everyone!!

To All My Buddies --

Well, we did it! Our PUPS for Parkinson's Dog Walk was the best ever because we and our people really care about curing Parkinson's disease.

I hope you all had as much fun as I did. A park full of great smells, nice people, and happy pups -- that's my idea of a good time!

But please don't forget that our work isn't done yet. We can keep raising money until June 18th. Every dollar that we raise will bring researchers that much closer to a cure. Let's keep up the good work because people with Parkinson's disease are counting on us.

Love,

Baylee

PS -- The two top fundraisers will get a special thank you from me, and a nice prize too!

Hi Everyone!!

Hi Buddies!

Well, our big day is almost here -- the PUPS Walk is next Sunday and I can hardly wait! Lots of people have registered on our website already and I'm looking forward to meeting everybody. The park is a really great place in the springtime. There are so many interesting smells that my nose never stops twitching. And to top it all off, we know that we're doing something that will help a lot of people -- we're walking for those who can't. All the money that we and our people raise will be used to find a cure for Parkinson's disease.

Don't forget that there will be some fun contests at the PUPS Walk next week.

So "bone up" on your most impressive talent and put together a costume that'll make everyone howl! Hope to see you all next week.

Love,

Baylee

PS -- Please ask your folks to bring a can or box of pet food with you to the PUPS Walk -- because lots of Long Island pets need our help too!

February 18, 2010

Hi Everyone!!

Well, it's coming up fast now -- the date for our annual PUPS for Parkinson's Dog Walk. The PUPS Walk date has been changed to April 18th -- that's so we could all get together in our favorite park, Belmont Lake State Park. I am so excited about seeing all my old buddies again - and making new ones too!

We all have a lot of work to do before the big day. People with Parkinson's are counting on us to help find a cure. All the money we and our people donate is used to fund the research that is bringing us closer to a cure every year. To find out how to register for the PUPS Walk and to help put an end to Parkinson's Disease, just click on our link.

Oh, and by the way, there's still time to brush up on your best talent -- the one that always earns you a treat - because there will be lots of fun things to do at the PUPS Walk, like contests, and an agility course, and even some special guests to meet.

I'm walking because I can, and for those who can't. I hope to see you there!

Love,

Baylee

Hi Everyone!

I hope you all had a fun summer. I spent mine doing my favorite thing -- tracking my backyard. There are so many great smells during the summer that I could keep my nose to the ground 24/7 ! I also got to see some of my pup-pals for playdates and that was fun too. But now it's time to get back to work because the PUPS for Parkinson's Dog Walk is only a few months away. We all like to have fun, but we dogs can also do something for people who really need our help. We can help cure Parkinson's disease. Some of my best friends are people who have Parkinson's and I am happy that I can help them feel better by working hard to raise money for a cure.

That's what the PUPS for Parkinson's Dog Walk is all about. All the money we and our people donate is used to fund the research that will find a cure. The next PUPS Walk will be on April 18, 2010. It's a real fun day where we get to strut our stuff and even show off our best talent or costume -- our humans just love that! I hope you'll join me in helping to find a cure for Parkinson's disease.

I'll keep in touch with all of you here on my blog, so don't forget to check it out. And remember -- people with Parkinson's disease really need our help!

Love,

Baylee
